Endless outdoor resources

Based in Wellow’s Village Hall, we are adjacent to a tree-lined playing field with running track and play park that look on to rolling fields of farm crops and grazing animals. These are our everyday outdoor resources.

To this we add our own picket-fenced garden with mud kitchen, raised beds for growing flowers and vegetables, and a large sandpit. We also have a spacious, safe playground area for riding bikes, scooters and sit-on cars, making every playtime energetic for all.

Out ‘n’ about

We love welly walks through the village and across the fields, making the absolute most of the countryside to teach children about the environment and nature. Our English, Maths and Science topics are brought to life by spotting letters and numbers on houses, counting flowers and insects and so much more.

Walks to the village church for enchanting Easter, Christmas and Harvest Festival celebrations are always a hit.

A strong bond with St Julian’s School

As a well-known part of the local community, many village children have attended our pre-school over the years. We regularly visit St Julian’s, the sought after Wellow village primary school, to help our older children prepare for the transition to school. We also have strong links with other local primaries.
