Welcome back. We hope you all had a lovely half term.
Topic for Term 4
Our topic for this term is ‘Animals’. This topic was chosen by the children last term. We would like to encourage the children to bring in any named topic related items.
Zoo Lab
We are planning to invite Zoo Lab into Magic Box (date to be confirmed). Please see attached flyer for more information. We are not charging for this unique experience, but would like to stress that it is your additional charges that cover such activities.
Home board
The children love sharing their special photographs with each other. Please bring in a photo if you have not already done so.
Golden Rules
We have recently re-written our Golden Rules with the help of the children, see below; please take a minute to discuss these rules with your children at home to help reinforce them.
- We should be good
- No shouting
- We can make friends
- Try to remember manners (please and thank you)
- We share and take turns
Sickness
If your child is unwell, please can you ring the pre-school and inform us of the nature of their illness as we have to keep a record of this information. May we remind you that if your child has had sickness or diarrhoea they must not return to the setting until 48 hours after the last bout of illness. Thank you for your support.
Parent evaluation forms
Thank you to everyone who has completed the Parent Evaluation forms. There is still time to complete one if you have not already done so. (If you have lost your form there are extra copies next to the register.)
Committee meeting
The next Magic Box committee meeting will be on March 6th, at 8pm. The committee consists of parents like you, who between them, run Magic Box. All parents are welcome to attend committee meetings, as we welcome all suggestions and input.
